Funny Xmas
Christmas was coming
The goose was getting fat
So I put it on the Atkins diet
And now it's had a heart attack.

Christmas is here
A good time is coming, I wish it were here,
The very best time in the whole of the year;
I'm counting each day on my fingers and thumbs
the weeks that must pass before Santa Claus comes.

Then when the first snowflakes begin to come down,
And the wind whistles sharp and the branches are brown,
I'll not mind the cold, though my fingers it numbs,
For it brings the time nearer when Santa Claus comes.

I think so much of you.
To be so very far away
Makes me sad... and blue.

Just think of all the years gone past,
Remember all the joy and cheer.
Then put fifty bucks in my Christmas card
and don't bug me again 'til next year!

Sweet apple pie and cold turkey
Tastes just like, old beef jerky.

A Christmas tree filled with lights
Unwrapped presents, beautiful sights.

Christmas carols consure the air
What a beautiful, crazy affair.

I just wish this all would last.
